Every Signature Series build uses the same 12,000psi structural concrete, basalt rebar, and maquette design process. The tier determines the scale, complexity, and feature set. The craftsmanship is identical across all three.
A Structured Approach to Custom Work
Every Boulder Legacies waterfall is a bespoke sculpture — but bespoke does not mean undefined. The Signature Series gives you a clear framework for scope, scale, and investment before the maquette process begins. Each tier establishes the approximate footprint, height range, feature integration, and timeline so you can align your vision with a realistic project scope from the first conversation.
The tiers are starting points, not limits. Every build is customized within its tier based on your property, pool geometry, and design preferences. Upgrades between tiers — or additions from other service categories (grottos, slides, fire features) — are always available.

Starting at $15,000
A focused pool accent — a single-cascade waterfall sculpted into one section of the pool edge. Ideal for existing pools that need a sculptural upgrade without a full-scale build.

The Boulder Legacies Standard
Regardless of which tier you select, every Signature Series build includes the full Boulder Legacies engineering standard and design process. There are no "basic" or "economy" versions of our work — the materials, construction method, and craftsmanship are identical. The tier determines scale and feature scope, not quality.

Signature Large is a multi-tier formation with integrated lighting and optional fire or planter elements (6–10 feet high, 12–20 foot footprint). Signature Estate is a full sculptural environment with multi-cascade formations, grotto and slide eligibility, and 20–40+ foot footprints. The materials, construction method, and craftsmanship are identical across all three tiers.
Absolutely. The tiers define the approximate scope — height range, footprint, and feature set — but every build is custom-designed to your property and preferences. The maquette process ensures you see and approve the exact design before construction begins. Rock texture, color palette, cascade patterns, and integration details are all customized within the tier framework.
Signature Small: 2–3 weeks of on-site construction after maquette approval. Signature Large: 3–5 weeks. Signature Estate: 5–8 weeks. Add 7–10 days for the design phase (site consultation, maquette creation, client review). These timelines assume standard site conditions — complex terrain, limited access, or significant grading requirements may extend the schedule. We provide a detailed timeline after the site consultation.

Final pricing depends on the specific design, site conditions, feature integrations (fire, lighting, slides), and geographic location (travel logistics for out-of-state builds). Every project begins with a $2,000 Design Investment that is applied to the total project cost. You receive a detailed quote after approving the maquette.
Yes. The tier is a starting point for scoping the project, not a rigid constraint. During the maquette phase, many clients decide to expand their scope — adding a second cascade tier, integrating a fire bowl, or extending the rock formation further along the pool edge. We adjust the design, timeline, and pricing accordingly. The $2,000 Design Investment applies regardless of which tier the final build lands in.
