Lucas founded Boulder Legacies with a conviction that concrete is a sculptural medium. His work merges structural engineering precision with a sculptor's eye -- producing environments that look, feel, and weather like natural geological formations.
Every project receives his direct involvement, from the initial clay maquette through the final walkthrough. The sculpting, the texturing, the coloring -- Lucas is on site, hands in the material, shaping every surface.
Founded in Tampa Bay, Florida
Boulder Legacies was established in Tampa Bay -- Pinellas County, Florida -- where Lucas built the portfolio, the reputation, and the 37 five-star reviews that define the firm today. The Florida market is where the engineering methods were refined, where the maquette design process was perfected, and where clients first saw concrete treated as sculpture rather than construction material.
Florida remains an active market. Clients across Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and beyond still commission work through the Florida studio. The relationships and the craftsmanship that built this firm are still very much alive there.
The move to Southern Missouri was a strategic expansion, not an exit. A central U.S. operations base in Lamar, Missouri enables national logistics -- coordinating commissions from coast to coast while maintaining the Midwest client base that has grown rapidly. Lucas and his team travel to every project site, regardless of location. The work is always hand-sculpted, always on-site, always direct.
Today, Boulder Legacies operates from two locations -- the Florida studio where it all started and the Missouri operations center that powers national reach. The dual-location model means a client in Scottsdale receives the same hands-on process as a client in Bradenton. Same sculptor. Same engineering. Same standard.
