Our Services — Custom Sculptural Concrete
We don't install rocks — we sculpt environments. Every project is hand-crafted from raw concrete, engineered for permanence, and shaped by artistic vision. No prefab panels. No GFRC molds. No shortcuts.
Sculptural Concrete — Seven Ways
Each project begins with a physical clay maquette and ends with a monolithic concrete structure that looks, feels, and weathers like natural stone — because there is nothing natural about settling for prefab.
Hand-Sculpted Waterfalls
Monolithic faux rock waterfalls for pools and landscapes. Multi-tier cascades, naturalistic boulders, and seamless integration — all hand-sculpted on site.

Most pool builders and landscapers choose mass-produced components. We sculpt each element by hand, on site, from raw materials. Here is how the methods compare.
| Attribute | Boulder Legacies (Hand-Sculpted) | GFRC Panels | Prefab Kits | Stone Veneer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Construction | Monolithic — sculpted on site | Factory-molded panels bolted together | Pre-cast modules assembled on site | Thin facade over frame |
| Customization | 100% bespoke — every detail unique | Limited to mold catalog | Fixed configurations | Pattern selection only |
| Shell Strength | 12,000 psi fiber-reinforced shell | 6,000–8,000 psi typical | 4,000–6,000 psi typical | N/A — decorative only |
| Reinforcement | Basalt rebar — zero rust expansion | Steel or fiberglass mesh | Steel rebar (rust risk) | Metal lath / adhesive |
| Seam Lines | None — seamless monolith | Visible panel joints | Modular seams | Grout lines |
| Design Process | Physical 1:12 clay maquette | 3D render / catalog | Catalog selection | Pattern samples |
| Lifespan | Decades — structural permanence | 15–25 years | 10–20 years | 10–15 years (delamination risk) |
Structural Art — Built to Last Decades
Every structure we build follows the same exacting engineering protocol, regardless of scale. Foam core sculpting provides the artistic form. A 12,000 psi fiber-reinforced cementitious shell delivers the structural integrity. Basalt rebar — not steel — eliminates the rust expansion that destroys conventional concrete from within.
Decorative Type S mortar is applied in 0.5 to 5 inch variations, creating the naturalistic texture and depth that makes our work indistinguishable from geological formations. Full waterproofing, densification at waterlines and slide surfaces, and a comprehensive seal ensure long-term durability in every climate.
Concrete. Water. Vision.
Every project starts with a $2,000 Design Investment — applied in full to your project cost. We build the maquette, you approve the vision, and then we sculpt it into reality.
