Signature Series Waterfalls — Tiered Sculptural Waterfall Packages

Three tiers of hand-sculpted waterfall installations — same 12,000psi structural concrete, basalt reinforcement, and maquette design process. The tier determines the scale.

Three Tiers, One Standard

A Structured Approach to Custom Work

Each tier establishes the approximate footprint, height range, feature integration, and timeline. The tiers are starting points, not limits — every build is customized based on your property and design preferences.

Signature Tiers

Choose Your Starting Point

Each tier represents a different scale of installation. All share the same engineering, materials, and maquette-first design process.

Tier One

Signature Small

Compact Accent Scale

A focused pool accent — a single-cascade waterfall sculpted into one section of the pool edge. Ideal for existing pools that need a sculptural upgrade without a full-scale build.

  • 4–6 foot height range
  • Single cascade, 6–10 foot footprint
  • Recirculating pump system
  • 1-inch-to-1-foot clay maquette included
  • 12,000psi shell + basalt reinforcement
  • 2–3 week build timeline

Tier Three

Signature Estate

Full Environment Scale

A full sculptural environment — commanding waterfall formations with grotto potential, slide integration, fire features, and extended rock work that transforms the entire pool area into an immersive landscape.

  • 10–15+ foot height range
  • Multi-cascade, 20–40+ foot footprint
  • Grotto and/or slide integration eligible
  • Fire feature integration available
  • Full LED lighting + audio-ready conduit
  • 5–8 week build timeline

The Boulder Legacies Standard

The materials, construction method, and craftsmanship are identical across all tiers. The tier determines scale and feature scope, not quality.

  • Design Engagement included
  • Site consultation and measurement
  • 1-inch-to-1-foot scale physical clay maquette (7–10 day turnaround)
  • 12,000psi fiber-reinforced cementitious shell
  • Basalt reinforcement (no steel)
  • Sculpting mortar finish — Type S + Tru Pac X additive (0.5–5 inch variation)
  • Waterproofing, densification, and full seal
  • Final walkthrough and handoff

Common Questions

Signature Series FAQ

Questions about tier selection, customization, timelines, and investment ranges.

Scale and feature scope. Signature Small is a focused, single-cascade waterfall accent (4–6 feet high, 6–10 foot footprint). Signature Large is a multi-tier formation with integrated lighting and optional fire or planter elements (6–10 feet high, 12–20 foot footprint). Signature Estate is a full sculptural environment with multi-cascade formations, grotto and slide eligibility, and 20–40+ foot footprints. The materials, construction method, and craftsmanship are identical across all three tiers.

Absolutely. The tiers define the approximate scope — height range, footprint, and feature set — but every build is custom-designed to your property and preferences. The maquette process ensures you see and approve the exact design before construction begins. Rock texture, color palette, cascade patterns, and integration details are all customized within the tier framework.

Signature Small: 2–3 weeks of on-site construction after maquette approval. Signature Large: 3–5 weeks. Signature Estate: 5–8 weeks. Add 7–10 days for the design phase (site consultation, maquette creation, client review). These timelines assume standard site conditions — complex terrain, limited access, or significant grading requirements may extend the schedule. We provide a detailed timeline after the site consultation.

Every Boulder Legacies project is priced individually based on scope, site conditions, materials, and artistic complexity. We discuss investment during the Design Engagement after understanding your vision. Final pricing depends on the specific design, site conditions, feature integrations (fire, lighting, slides), and geographic location (mobilization scope for out-of-state builds). You receive a detailed quote after approving the maquette.

Yes. The tier is a starting point for scoping the project, not a rigid constraint. During the maquette phase, many clients decide to expand their scope — adding a second cascade tier, integrating a fire bowl, or extending the rock formation further along the pool edge. We adjust the design, timeline, and pricing accordingly. The Design Engagement applies regardless of which tier the final build lands in.
